The Story
The unit is not engaging the tape, it only plays for a couple of seconds and it stops. We suspect a fault with the tape player. Cosmetically in excellent condition. Comes with manual.
The Aiwa AD-L40 is a stereo cassette deck that was manufactured around 1979-1980. It features a 2-head, single compact cassette deck with a 4-track, 2-channel stereo system, and it supports various tape types including normal, chrome, ferro-chrome, and metal tapes with additional manual equalization selection. The deck uses a belt-driven single-capstan transport and includes Dolby-B noise reduction to reduce tape hiss.
