The Arturia MicroFreak is a hybrid experimental synthesizer that combines digital oscillators with analog filters, offering a unique sound palette. It features a 2-octave PCB keyboard that is flat and pressure-sensitive, allowing for expressive playing. The MicroFreak has 21 digital oscillator modes, including wavetable synthesis, virtual analog, and physical modeling, as well as 7 modes from Mutable Instruments and 3 from Noise Engineering. It also includes a multi-mode analog filter and various modulation options like an LFO and envelope generators.
