The Ibanez Jem Jr is an affordable version of Steve Vai's famous Jem signature model guitar, featuring many iconic design elements like the monkey grip, tree of life inlay, and lion's claw tremolo routing. It is made in Indonesia and has a mahogany body with a Wizard III maple neck topped with a jatoba fingerboard.
It has a versatile pickup configuration with two Quantum humbuckers and one Quantum single-coil pickup, providing a wide tonal range suitable for both rhythm and lead playing. The Jem Jr also includes a double-locking tremolo bridge for tuning stability during pitch bends.
