The Roland JV-880 is a 1U rackmount synthesizer module released in 1992. It follows Roland's typical design with a black, brushed aluminum front panel, a rotary encoder for patch editing, and a headphone socket with volume control. The module has one expansion slot plus front panel card slots for Data & PCM cards, and it is 16-part multitimbral with 28 voice polyphony. It features two stereo outputs, onboard chorus and reverb effects, and 128 built-in and 64 user patches. The JV-880 can be expanded with Roland SR-JV80 expansion boards, which are compatible with all JV models.
