• Key Features: The recorder has 4GB of internal memory, expandable to 32GB via a micro SD slot, and can record for up to 59 hours in stereo at MP3 128kbps. It also features Auto Voice Recording, which optimizes audio capture settings for vocal frequencies, and Clear Voice technology, which cleans up the signal for improved clarity.
• Recording Modes: The ICD-PX470 offers two recording modes: Focus mode, which captures a narrow field of sound from one direction, and Wide-Stereo mode, which opens up the range to capture everyone in the room. It also has four ‘scene’ pre-sets (music, meeting, interview, dictation) to further optimize the audio settings.
• Playback Functions: The recorder allows for transcription playback mode, which enables easy fast-forwarding and rewinding through tracks, as well as creating cue points to find specific parts of a recording. It also features Digital Pitch Control, which allows for slowing down the playback speed to listen more closely to what’s being said.
• File Formats: The ICD-PX470 can record in Linear PCM and MP3 file formats, and can also play back MP3 and PCM files, making it possible to listen to favorite songs in music player mode.
